PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing wrong distribution of FAXed printed matter. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus outputs FAXed image data in the form of printed matter. A person in charge of distributing the printed matter reads an image of the printed matter using the image forming apparatus. The image forming apparatus extracts a destination out of the read image and transmits the destination as destination information to a server. The server stores related information (face photograph etc.) associated to persons in departments, and transmits related information associated with a person as a recipient by reference to the sent destination information. The image forming apparatus displays a picture for specifying a person as the recipient with a face photograph etc., based upon the sent related information. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
