PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of easily executing editing and compositing of images without using a personal computer. SOLUTION: Source image data preserved inside an external storage medium are selected and stored inside the printing device, and the image data are printed on a printing paper sheet in a draft mode. Then, after a user draws a section line on the printing paper sheet, they are fetched into the printing device by a scanner.
