PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that a fitting plane part of a closed container to which a bracket is fitted has insufficient flatness or is inclined from a predetermined position, causing detachment and positional shift of the bracket due to the insufficient welding strength, and that a gap is created between the bracket and closed container and water etc. enters from outside and adheres to an electrical component and a glass terminal. SOLUTION: This electrical component cover fixing device for a compressor is provided with the glass terminal 103 fixed to the closed container 101, an electrical component cover 108 covering the electrical component 115 and the bracket 104 fixed in the vicinity of the glass terminal 103 and holding the electrical component cover 108. The bracket 104 has a plurality of leg parts 124 protruded to a side opposite to the closed container 101. The leg parts 124 are pressed against the closed container 101, and the bracket 104 is welded to the closed container 101 by welding projections 127 provided in the leg parts 124.
