PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a revolving angle detecting device which can easily detect a revolving angle. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the revolving angle detecting device, a reflector plate 21 which is set such that a distance between a distance sensor 11 and the reflector plate itself is uniquely fixed according to a revolving angleθ, is arranged, and the revolving angleθis calculated based on the distance between the distance sensor 11 and the reflector plate 21, measured by the distance sensor 11. Thus, arrangement of sensors for calculating the revolving angleθ, such as the distance sensor 11 and the reflector plate 21, is facilitated, and therefore detection of the revolving angleθis facilitated, which leads to reduction of costs necessary for detecting the revolving angleθ.
