PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the skew correction accuracy of a Z-folding paper and a tab paper only by changing the control method without changing the constitution of a hardware, and to enhance the accuracy of the punching position, accordingly. SOLUTION: A paper sheet conveyed from an image forming device to a paper sheet post-processing device is conveyed to the downstream side through a conveying roller 1, an inlet sensor 301, a conveying roller 2 and a switch-back sensor 302. The paper sheet conveyed in the paper sheet post-processing device is stopped once when its fore end passes through the conveying roller 3 and its rear end passes through the switch-back sensor 302. After stopping for a predetermined time, the conveying roller 2 and the conveying roller 3 are reversed, and the paper sheet is switched back. The paper sheet is pressed against a nip of the conveying roller 1 from the downstream side by this switch-back, and the paper sheet is deflected at the nip position to correct the skew.
