PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer sheeter capable of promptly intercepting a flow of air discharged or sucked from/to an air bar when a blower stops, and preventing jamming of sheets even when printing is finished; and an operating method thereof. SOLUTION: An air blowing means or a sucking means turned to a sheet carrying path from a cut portion of a printing web to a sheet stack portion is provided with. A blower connected to the air blowing means or the sucking means is equipped. A path intercepting valve is provided in an air supplying path from the blower to the air blowing means or the sucking means, and a controller making the intercepting valve carry out intercepting action according to blower stopping action. The air supplying path is intercepted simultaneously with the controller stops the blower, so that air supply is instantly stopped, and jamming of sheets does not occur even when printing is finished.
