A table entertainment device and a method of operating the device are provided to offer information on stores or liquor purchasing customers to liquor companies or chain stores to achieve efficient inventory control of liquors and management of stores. A table entertainment device includes a transceiver(111) for transmitting and receiving data, a central processor(112) for providing an input signal or an output signal to the transceiver, a power supply(113) for supplying power to the central processor, and a display(114) which is electrically connected to the central processor and displays the data transmitted and received through the transceiver. The table entertainment device further includes an input/output unit for calling the central processor, a fixing unit(115) for fixing the device to a table, and a sensor(116) for sensing separation of the fixing unit from the table. |
