<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source unit capable of enhancing luminance by the use of a plurality of solid light-emitting elements. <P>SOLUTION: The light source unit is provided with a complex lens 12 so formed as to have a plurality of divided bodies 12A including center axes 14 of a condensing lens formed in rotational symmetry with a center axis 15 as a center at a position eccentric from the center axis 15, and a light source 13 with solid light-emitting elements 16 arranged nearly in opposition to the center axes of the condenser lens divided bodies 12A.
