<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biomass gasifying method and biomass gasifying equipment, which can reduce the carbon content of the incinerated ashe generated during the gasification of a biomass to that allowing the use of the ash for landfill, thus enabling effectively utilizing the incineration heat from the biomass. <P>SOLUTION: A biomass is charged into a gasification oven 1, the biomass is pyrolyzed under a reducing atmosphere with an air ratio of≤1 to form pyrolysis gases, the pyrolysis gases are fed to a reformer oven 2 installed in the subsequent stage to the gasification oven 1 to reform into reformed gases, the reformed gases are led to a dust collector 3 installed subsequently to the reformer oven 2 to remove the ashes from the above reformed gases, the ashes are charged into an incinerator 6 adjoining to the gasification oven 1 to burn the carbon portion contained in the ashes, and the preheated air, obtained by supplying air to a heat exchanger 8 installed subsequently to the incinerator 6 and allowing heat exchange to take place with the heat generated in the incinerator 6, is supplied to the gasification oven 1 as a combustion air for the gasification oven 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
