<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head allowing an amateur golfer unstable in the hitting point to increase a carry on average. <P>SOLUTION: The golf club head 1 has a face part 2 of titanium or titanium alloy, a crown part 3, a sole part 4, a side part 5 and a hosel part 6. The golf club head 1 comprises a head body 10 and a face plate 30 welded/unified together by laser-welding, plasma-welding or the like. A projection 20 is formed only in the center of the toe-heel direction of an intersection corner of the face part 2 and the sole part 4. The face plate 30 is formed with a recess 31 engaged with the projection 20. The width of the projection 20 in the toe-heel direction is 20 mm or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
