PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deformation keeper for twist binding which is safe and inexpensively producible, provided with a sufficient shape keeping characteristic and suitable for continuous binding by a high-speed machine. SOLUTION: In structuring this deformation keeper for twist binding, a composite whose main contents are 30-90 mass% polylactic acid resin and 70-10 mass% aliphatic-aromatic polyester resin, is extrusion molded by unstretching or less than double low stretching. In structuring this deformation keeper for twist binding, relative to 100 pts.mass of the composite whose main contents are 30-90 mass% polylactic acid resin and 70-10 mass% aliphatic-aromatic polyester resin, less than 40 pts.mass of other thermoplastic resin is contained to be extrusion molded by unstretching or less than double low stretching.
