摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spiral nanocarbon material composite having diamond particles as nuclei and having high resistance, a wide surface area and an excellent process fitness, to provide its manufacturing method and to provide an electron-emitting element using the composite and an electronic device such as a surface-emitting element. <P>SOLUTION: The spiral nanocarbon material composite 1 is composed of a diamond particle 2 and a nanocarbon material 3 formed on the surface of the diamond particle directly or through a metal or a metal compound and having a spiral structure. The electron-emitting element using the spiral nanocarbon material composite contains a substrate, a conductive layer provided on the substrate and the spiral nanocarbon material composite prepared by forming the nanocarbon material having the spiral structure directly or through a metal or a metal compound and the spiral nanocarbon material composite is provided on the conductive layer and electron are emitted by a strong electric field.
