<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus which can reduce degradation in image quality due to discontinuity of a main scanning line. <P>SOLUTION: The image formation apparatus comprises a substrate, an optical head in which n rows (n is a natural number of 3 or above) of a plurality of light emitting elements arranged straight in the longitudinal direction of the substrate are arranged on the substrate, an image carrier for forming a latent image by the light emitted from the light emitting elements constituting the optical head, and a means for detecting the rotation angle of the image carrier and outputting a pulse. Emission timing of at least the light emitting elements in the first row and the light emitting elements in a row not adjoining the first row is synchronized with the timing of a pulse from the image carrier rotation angle detection means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
