PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire restricted in outbreak of a product failure near an abutment part between a tread part mold and a side part mold, and to provide a vulcanization molding device for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The vulcanization molding device 50 has the tread part mold 52 for vulcanizing a tread part and the side part mold for vulcanizing a side wall part 14 by abutting on the tread part mold 52 in vulcanization molding. The side part mold is structured of an upper mold portion 54U and a lower mold portion. A buttress part 26 of the pneumatic tire 10 formed by vulcanization molding by using this vulcanization molding device 50 is formed with one projection 28 sharpened in the tip thereof and continued in the tire circumferential direction. The projection 28 is formed in the boundary between the tread part mold 52 and the side part mold. Mold shape in the boundary between the tread part mold 52 and the side part mold is formed so that a clearance is gradually narrowed with a view from the inside of the mold.
