PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for user-friendlily performing the registration of terminal identification information in the setting of a wireless LAN while considering security. SOLUTION: This radio communication setting device 100 performs setting for performing wireless connection to a management server which manages the wireless LAN. A terminal identification information generation part 401 generates identification information unique to the radio communication setting device 100. The generated identification information is stored in a storage part 11. An authentication processing part 403 performs authentication processing about the identification information inputted in the management server. An error detection part 404 detects that the authentication processing cannot be performed as an error. The terminal identification information generation part 401, when the error is detected, regenerates a new piece of identification information, however, when the identification information is erroneously inputted in the management server, the identification information stored in the storage part 11 is utilized for the setting of radio connection without regenerating the new piece of identification information.
