PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning system for enabling a person installing an access point to add only his/her desired information and distribute the latest position information adapted to the addition and elimination of an access point, and a managing method of position information. SOLUTION: At least one of radio apparatuses 211 is a positioning radio access point for transmitting a radio signal to be used so as to make a radio terminal 232 detect its own position, and a management server stores position information data 141 of the radio apparatus 211 which are acquired when the radio terminal 232 lent from a position information management company communicates with the radio apparatus 211 and is transferred through a radio network 180, and additional information registered while associated with an installation place of a positioning radio access point, and distributes the additional information to the radio terminal 232 that detects its own position through the positioning radio access point.
