PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminating circuit that stops noise from flowing into a transmission line from reference potential (ground or power source) by a simple configuration. SOLUTION: The terminating circuit 17 is composed of : a pair of resistance elements R1 and R2 which are connected in series between a pair of signal lines 31 and 32 constituting a transmission line 3 and have the same resistance values; a resistance element R3 and a capacitive element C connected to a neutral point as an interconnection point between the resistance elements R1 and R2; and a diode D connecting a circuit comprising the resistance element R3 and the capacitive element C to the ground G. The resistance element R3 and the capacitive element C are connected in series, the end on the side of the resistance element R3 is connected to a neutral point, and the end on the side of the capacitive element C is connected to the diode D. The diode D has its anode connected to the capacitive element C and its cathode connected to the ground G so as to supply a current from the neutral point (i.e. the side of the transmission line 3) to the side of the ground G.
