摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode arrangement of a gas switch, capable of improving heat insulating performance for a permanent magnet, and suppressing deterioration of magnetic force of the permanent magnet. SOLUTION: A stationary contact 1 and a movable contact 2 are provided coaxially each other in the inside of the arc-extinguishing chamber of a gas-blast circuit-breaker. An arc A is generated between both contacts 1, 2 by a breaking current when parting the contacts. First and second doughnut-shaped heat insulating support pieces 3, 4 made of a heat insulating material of an insulator, and a cylindrical permanent magnet 5 to apply magnetic force to the ark A are provided in the stationary contact 1. An intermediate gas space C is formed between the inner wall of the intermediate part of the stationary contact 1 and the side face of the permanent magnet 5 facing the inner wall by the first and second heat insulating support pieces 3, 4.
