PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element for achieving optical equipment free from the generation of signal noise, flare light or the like and having fine optical characteristics. SOLUTION: A light reflection prevention part is formed on a portion other than a first optical effective surface 11b out of a first shape surface 11a of an element base material 11, a portion other than a second optical effective surface 11c out of a second shape surface 11d and the surface of an external edge part 11e to prevent the reflection of light made incident on the optical element from the external and suppress the generation of signal noise, flare light, and so on.
