PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for measuring the internal diameter of a reactor pressure vessel which is installed in it to measure the internal diameter of it when maintenance work in it is carried out. SOLUTION: The device 10 for measuring the internal diameter of the reactor pressure vessel in this invention is equipped with a central axis body 43 placed in correspondence with an arbitrary CRD housing 35 located on the outer periphery and a measurement unit 21 which is mounted on the central axis body 43 and has a distance sensor 22. The upper end of the central axis body 43 is engaged with the opening 34a of a core support plate 34, and the its lower end is engaged with the CRD housing 35. The distance sensor 22 of the measurement unit 21 measures the distance to the inside wall of the reactor pressure vessel 38, referred to the CRD housing 35.
