PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a submerged electric pump with reduced initial and running costs, which efficiently feeds a large amount of sewage and miscellaneous waste water from domestic drain units tank, manholes, and pump facilities to a predetermined location by less power, and is reduced in size and weight with a simple structure. SOLUTION: This submerged electric pump is configured so that an axial flow impeller 17 is attached to a load side lead out end of a motor main spindle 9, a water feeding casing 15 for feeding water to a predetermined location is provided, a strainer 21 having a plurality of through-holes 21h bored therein is provided on a suction end side of the water feeding casing 15, a guide casing 19 for guiding pumping liquid to the axial flow impeller 17 is provided, an annular fixed blade 20 having a plurality of linear grooves 20h bored therein as blade parts for cutting foreign matter is fitted in an inner periphery of the guide casing 19 with a small annular gap between itself and the outer periphery of the axial flow impeller 17, and the foreign matters cut by cooperation of edges of the linear grooves of the inner periphery of the annular fixed blade 20 and a blade outer peripheral edge 17d of the axial flow impeller 17, are fed to the predetermined location from a discharge port 16 of the water feeding casing 15 along with the pumping liquid.
