PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rod-fitting jig for molten iron tapping hole-opening machine with which not only the hole-opening rod can surely be prevented from being through-out from a socket, but also, this through-out preventive structure is simple and the fitting/removing of this through-out preventive metallic tool is easily performed. SOLUTION: Under state of fitting the hole-opening rod 6 having a pair of guide stoppers 6a on the outer peripheral surface along the axial direction of the end edge part, to the socket 10 fixed to the end part of a joint part of a hole-drilling machine main body through a rod inserting hole 10a disposed at an axial center part; this rod-fitting jig is constituted so as to fit the through-out preventive metallic tool for fitting a lock type engaging bar which can be engaged with the other end of the pipe, by fitting with a spring and the extending position thereof fitted to the one end part of this pipe body, to a pipe body.
