DISTAL END CAP FOR ENDOSCOPE AND ENDOSCOPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distal end cap for an endoscope which facilitates a removal of hemorrhage from an affected area by requiring no troublesome work such as suction of water, and an endoscope. SOLUTION: The distal end cap for an endoscope includes a main body 31 of the cap attached to and detached from the distal end part 14 of an insertion portion 12 of the endoscope and a translucent membrane material 35 which opposes to an objective lens 16 provided on the distal end part 14 when the main body of the cap is mounted on the distal end of the insertion portion.
