The arm has a rocker arm body (1) made of steel sheet, where the body has two side walls (2,3) connected by a transverse crossbar (4). The side walls have openings (6, 7) aligned with each other in a middle part (5) for pivotable and movable accommodation on an axle. An axle bearing is integrated in the crossbar, is formed as a half-shell and is aligned with the opening. The half shell (8) has a uniform radius, which is adapted approximately to a radius of the openings.
