This invention relates to a composition and use application of aqueous fl uidized polymer suspensions of hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) suspended in sod ium thiosulfate for use in oil field applications such completion fluids, dr illing fluids, fracturing fluids and oil well cement slurries as rheology/vi scosity modifier and fluid loss reducer for use where the affect on the mari ne environment is to be minimized.
