<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of maintaining the adhesive strength between an optical filter and a holder. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus has: a substrate 10 on which an image sensor 20 is mounted; and the holder 30 that holds first and second lenses 71, 72 and the optical filter 40 and is fixed onto the substrate 10 so that the image sensor 20 is covered. The holder 30 has a coating surface onto which an adhesive 60 for fixing the optical filter 40 to the holder 30 is applied. The adhesive 60 is filled so that the boundary between the optical filter 40 and the coating surface is covered.
