<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a gas sensor that facilitates both of suppression of collapse of an air transmission layer due to filling of a filling material and ensuring of air flow rate in an air transmission layer. <P>SOLUTION: An oxygen detecting section which has a detection electrode and a reference electrode on a circumferential surface 2d on one axle side of a solid column shape core rod 2c is formed; the air transmitting layer 2k which extends on the circumferential surface 2d of the core rod 2c along an axis direction and introduces the air outside in the reference electrode above is formed; and a strut portion 2t, which corresponds to a portion where a filling material is filled between a detection element 2 and a casing. This strut portion 2t receives external force by this strut portion 2t, and the collapse of the air transmitting layer 2k caused by an external force is suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
