<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor capable of securing stable conduction in a contact member. <P>SOLUTION: This gas sensor 1 has a sensor element 2; a housing 3 for holding the sensor element 2; an atmospheric side insulator 4 disposed so as to cover the base end 21 of the sensor element 2; the contact member 5 arranged inside the atmospheric side insulator 4, to be in contact with a terminal 25 of the sensor element 2; a holder 6 for holding the atmospheric side insulator 4; and an atmospheric side cover 11 provided so as to cover the atmospheric side insulator 4. The contact member 5 has a locking part 51 for preventing dislocation of the atmospheric side insulator 4 to the base end side. The atmospheric side insulator 4 has inside a part to be locked 41 with which the locking part 51 of the contact member 5 is locked. The holder 6 has a holder abutting part 62 capable of abutting on an inward projection part 111 formed on the atmospheric side cover 11 from the axial direction tip side, and a pawl part 61 bending toward the radial direction inside and abutting on the base end face 40 of the atmospheric side insulator 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
