DESULFURIZATION METHOD FOR HYDROCARBON FUEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desulfurization method using desulfurizing agents capable of maintaining a desulfurization effect for a long period in a state that a very small amount of methanol and a very small amount of moisture are mixed in a hydrocarbon fuel including sulfur.

SOLUTION: In the desulfurization method for a hydrocarbon fuel including methanol and water, a Y-type zeolite system desulfurizing agent including at least copper is used at a front stage as a desulfurizing agent, and an X-type zeolite system desulfurizing agent including at least silver is used at a rear stage.
