<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus and a communication system, for maintaining satisfactory communication quality with a simple configuration while saving power. <P>SOLUTION: During radio communication period from the start of communication of radio LAN to the end thereof, the communication apparatus turns on a multi-transmission/reception flag to transmit/receive the same data two times in radio communication between MFP1 and a slave set 31.
