<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To erase handwriting on a recorded medium and to also erase handwriting data corresponding to it, in a handwriting input system leaving the handwriting on the recorded medium by a writing utensil and allowing acquisition of the handwriting data based on position coordinate information of the writing utensil. <P>SOLUTION: The handwriting previously written on a paper surface is erased by a transfer type correction tape delivered from a tape reel incorporated in an electronic correction tape, the erasure by the transfer type correction tape is detected by a sensor detecting rotation of the tape reel and the transfer type correction tape delivered from the tap reel, and the handwriting data corresponding to a portion erased by the transfer type correction tape are erased by an ultrasonic transmission element transmitting an ultrasonic signal for detecting position coordinates, an electromagnetic transmission element or an infrared light-emitting element transmitting a trigger signal, and a reception device 7 capable of detecting the position coordinates in a handwriting erasure state of the electronic correction tape from an arrival time difference between the trigger signal and the ultrasonic signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
