<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid carrying passage in which the distribution of velocities of a fluid flowing through a passage is made symmetric with respect to the central axis of the passage so that the fluid is distributed nearly uniformly at the branching section arranged in the downstream. <P>SOLUTION: The fluid carrying passage has an inflow inlet allowing a fluid to flow in, a passage carrying the fluid, a branching section arranged in the passage and changing the flowing direction of the fluid and branching it, and two or more outflow outlets discharging the fluid having passed through the branching section. There is an area between the inflow inlet and the branching section in which the flowing direction of the fluid is changed. In the area, the central line of the flow passage in the flowing direction of the fluid lies along a series of two circular arcs having centers at different positions, and the series of the arcs consists of a combination of such two circular arcs that the rotation directions of the fluid along the circular arcs are mutually reverse.
