PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved joining device for joining two assemblies to each other. SOLUTION: This joining device 10 has a clevis 22 and a connection member 28. The member (28) through which a through hole 30 is extended is housed between the first and second lugs 26a, 26b of the clevis. These lugs has a first clevis hole 32a and a second clevis hole 32b, respectively. The joining device further comprises a shearing pin mechanism 36 having a screw end 46 in cooperation with a nut mechanism 44 extending through the holes 32a, 32b, 30 and pressed against the second lug. The shearing pin mechanism has a wide portion 42 extending through the first hole and forming a shoulder part 50 positioned between two lugs. The member positioned apart a specified distance from the first lug is pressed against the shoulder part 50 on one side, and pressed against the second lug 26b on the other side.
