PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new polymer complex having three-dimensionally regularly arranged pores, and to provide a method for producing the complex. SOLUTION: This polymer complex is characterized by having three-dimensionally regularly arranged pores in a three-dimensional network structure having only one polymer complex skeleton which comprises at least a zinc ion as a central metal and a tridentate ligand and in which the tridentate ligand is arranged on the zinc ion. And, the method for producing the polymer complex is characterized by bringing a solution of zinc bromide (II) (ZnBr<SB>2</SB>) into contact with a solution of a tridentate ligand having three coordination bond sites to be coordinated onto the zinc of the zinc bromide (II) by the liquid-liquid diffusion method to grow the crystal of the polymer complex described in the claim 1.
