PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indicating lamp capable of preventing the halation due to reflection of a light source while suppressing a decrease in illuminance on an irradiated surface of a display plate. SOLUTION: The indicating lamp 5, which is disposed in front of an irradiated surface of an advertisement signboard and projects light to light up the irradiated surface from before, is provided with: a discharge lamp 11; and a main reflector 12 reflecting the radiation light emitted by the discharge lamp 11 on the irradiated surface. The indicating lamp is further provided with a sub-reflector 14 which is provided between the discharge lamp 11 and irradiated surface and reflects part of the radiation light traveling from the discharge lamp 11 directly to the irradiated light on the main reflector 12 to irradiate the irradiated surface from the main reflector 12.
