PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide high-purity BCG-CWS useful as a cancer immunotherapy agent and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of BCG-CWS comprises the following steps (1)-(4): (1) a step of crushing BCG bacillus and collecting cell walls (WCW); (2) a step of treating cell walls (WCW) collected in the step (1) with benzonase and pronase; (3) a step of treating a product prepared in the step (2) with a surfactant under heating at 55-65°C; and (4) a step of rinsing a product prepared in the step (3) with an organic solvent.
