PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device of ink-jet type which makes a generated paper dust adhere to the face surface of a recording head or its vicinity as little as possible. SOLUTION: A paper dust collecting member 50 is attached to the downstream-side part of a carrier guide 22 in the carrying direction. The paper dust collecting member 50 is equipped with a vertical wall 52 which rises vertically upwards from the downstream-side part of the carrier guide 22 in the carrying direction and a downstream side wall 54 which is prolonged towards the downstream side in the carrying direction from the upper end of the vertical wall 52. The downstream side wall 54 is arranged so that the ink discharge from the recording head 28 located in the position for recording may not be disturbed. The vertical wall 52 and the downstream side wall 54 are reinforced with ribs 56. The vertical wall 52, the downstream side wall 54 and the ribs 56 are made from chargeable material.
