Oil separator for cutting fluids having central vessel with oil coagulation mat

This device continuously cleans and separates cooling lubricants, e.g. cutting fluids. The new design separates off a central section (30) in the tank. Side vessels (2, 3) lie on either side of its partitions. An inlet connection (5) receives the raw lubricant. Oil forming on the upper surface (15) enters the side vessel (3) over the overflow (22) formed in a partition (4). A partition (10) on the other side has a low outlet passage (11) and forms an intermediate chamber with a further partition (9). This partition has an overflow (12), its upper edge lower than that of the first overflow (22). Cleaned oil water emulsion flows over this weir into the side vessel (2)
