PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a disk device in which work during maintenance can be lightened and which has a dust-proof function. SOLUTION: The disk device 50 is provided with: a disk tray 2 mounting a disk on it; a drive source (not illustrated) giving drive force for driving the disk tray 2; a drive force transmission means (not illustrated) transmitting the drive force; and a chassis 1 mounted with the disk tray 2, the drive source, and the drive force transmission means. An opening part 20 which is needed when the drive force transmission means is manually driven is formed at the chassis 1. Also, the disk device 50 is provided with an opening part opening and closing means 40 in which the opening part 20 can be closed when at least the disk is rotated and it can be opened when the drive force transmission means is manually driven.
