PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for inserting dry-type water-sealing member into a joint crossing part, with which an elastic dry sealing member such as compressed foamed sealing material or the like can easily be inserted thoroughly into each joint from a cross-shaped joint intersected part, while the inserted dry-type sealing member is tightly adhered with a good quality to the faces surrounding the joint crossing part by its restoration, so as to assure a high water sealing property. SOLUTION: The tool 4 has a base plate 5 for the joint crossing part and a plurality of base plates 6 for joints projecting from the joint crossing part to the respective joints in a coupled condition. Each joint base plate 6... is provided inside with a pair of side walls 7 which hold in the width direction of the joint the projected portion of the dry-type water-sealing member in a compressed condition.
