[PROBLEMS] To provide a technique of correctly determining the layer which receives a request when an image composed of layers is displayed. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A display system comprises a display unit, an executing section for executing one or more applications, virtual frame buffers for storing drawing information and transmittance information both on each point of the screen created by one or more applications, a drawing section for creating an image composed of layers in a real frame buffer by subjecting the corresponding layer to a pasting/transparency processing of the content in the virtual frame buffer and drawing the image on the screen, a storage unit for storing the threshold of the transparency of each layer, an input unit for receiving the input to specify the position on the screen by the user as a request for a processing, a destination determining section for judging whether or not the transparency in the position of each layer is higher than the threshold in response to the input and determining as the destination the application relating to the layer for which affirmative result of the judgment is obtained.
