The method involves rinsing a mechanically manufactured component with a rinsing medium under pressure by a nozzle to remove impurities from a through hole. The nozzle is held on an opening (10) in a sealing or partially sealing manner, and the medium is injected into the through hole under pressure, where the rinsing medium is a liquid or a gas. The nozzle is guided by a handling apparatus relative to the manufactured component and is fitted on the opening. An independent claim is also included for a device for rinsing mechanically manufactured components.
