<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator that can rotate a movable plate around each of an X axis and a Y axis orthogonal to the X axis, while reducing the cost and size, and to provide an optical scanner and an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The actuator 1 includes: a first oscillation system 21 having a driving member 211; a second oscillation system 22 having a movable plate 221; a driving means 6 including a permanent magnet 61 provided on the driving member 211, a coil 62, and a voltage application means 63; and spacers 81, 82 present between the driving member 211 and the permanent magnet 61 to form a space 83 which prevents interference with the movable plate 221. The movable plate 221 is rotated around each of the X axis and the Y axis by applying a superposed voltage of a first alternating voltage and a second alternating voltage in different frequencies from each other to the coil 62 by the voltage application means 63. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
