<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container cover material which is superior in hot-keeping and cold-keeping characteristics with a suede-like feel. <P>SOLUTION: A foaming material (an ink resin 150) comprising at least two mixed types of foaming agents 150a, 150b with different grain diameters coats the base material (a paper layers 11) of a container cover material and the foaming agents are foamed for forming and dispersing foamed grains 151a, 151b with different grain diameters on the surface layer of the cover material 10. Preferably the small-diameter grains are in the range of 40-80 μm and the large-diameter grains are in the range of 120-200 μm. The occupancy of the grains on the surface layer is 80-95%. The foaming grains are dispersed at a high density without inviting the lack of resin on the surface layer for improving hot-keeping and cold-keeping characteristics and for efficiently preventing a content from remaining being attached to the back face of the cover material in HOT filling.
