<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain proper images and stable operation by preventing abnormal images due to moisture absorption of transfer paper, and preventing electrical member from being broken. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes a first connection path for electrically connecting a fixing unit and a body frame, a second connection path for electrically connecting the fixing unit and the body frame, with higher resistance than the first connection path, a switching means for alternatively switching the first and second connection paths, and a connection control means for controlling the switching means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
