<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which is convenient to use by reducing a force necessary to close an opening/closing member and to make the operability of the opening/closing member improve. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus for forming an image on a recording medium includes a plurality of cartridges 7; mounting parts 22 having the plurality of cartridges 7 removably mounted thereon; an opening/closing member 21 provided turnably and opening/closing the mounting parts 22; a plurality of parts 71 to be energized corresponding to the plurality of cartridges 7, respectively; and a plurality of energizing parts 31 provided on the opening/closing member 21 and energizing the plurality of parts 71 to be energized, when closing the opening/closing member 21 and is so configured that the timings of peaks of reaction forces from the plurality of parts 71 to be energized to the plurality of energizing parts 31, which are caused when closing the opening/closing member 21, are shifted from each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
