PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for confirming information on displayed articles using a radio identification system.

SOLUTION: The method for confirming information on the displayed articles using the radio identification system includes steps of transmitting a certificate containing information on a location of an OIS (object information service) server and an authentication value to a mobile reader by a local server in a salesroom if a user's mobile reader advances into the salesroom, requesting an article ID to a tag attached to the article from the mobile reader, transmitting information generated by encrypting a tag ID into an authentication value, to the mobile reader by a tag receiving a request of ID, receiving the encrypted information of the tag ID and the authentication value from the mobile reader by the OIS server based on position information in the certificate, and retrieving data corresponding to the tag ID from a database by the OIS server and transmitting the data to the mobile reader if the authentication value received by the OIS server from the mobile reader exists in the database.
