<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-point communication environment where a plurality of conversation spaces such as a cocktail party exists among remote sites. <P>SOLUTION: An input image obtained by an image input part 101 of this interface device 100 in a point P1 is transmitted to the interface device 100 in the other point via a network 200, and is transmitted to an inverted image generation part 104 to generate an laterally inverted inversion image, and an indication position detecting part 106 detects a position indicated by a user U1. An input image in the other interface device 100 is received by a reception part 103, and is superposed with the inverted image in an image superposing part 105. A command selection part 107 selects and executes a command assigned by the user U1, on the superposed image, based on the position.
