<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a post-processing unit capable of preventing the page order from being disturbed when waiting sheets to be successively fed and transferring the sheets to a stacking unit. <P>SOLUTION: A sheet carry-in path has (1) a waiting path which is arranged on the upstream side of a branch point of a switch-back path to retreat at least a rear end of a sheet fed from a carry-in port above the path, (2) a flapper means for guiding the rear end of the sheet to the waiting path, and (3) a conveying roller means which is arranged on the downstream side of the branch point and rotated forwardly and backwardly. The conveying roller means has a control means for rotating the conveying roller means forwardly and backwardly so that the conveying direction of the sheet from the carry-in port is inverted and the sheet is temporarily stopped on the waiting path, the sheet and a succeeding sheet are transferred to the branch point in a superposed manner, and conveyed from the switch-back path to the sheet stacking means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
