<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air vent pipe coupling capable of surely detecting no O ring by an airtight test when an O ring is not installed. <P>SOLUTION: This air vent pipe coupling 24 has a pair of connecting pipe parts 26, a branch pipe part 28 forming an air vent hole 32 inside, and a plug body 40 detachably installed in the branch pipe part 28 by screw-joining in a state of seating a seating surface 48 on a seating object surface 38 of the branch pipe part 28, and airtightly seals a male fitting surface 49 on the lower side of a male screw part 54 of its plug body 40 and a female fitting surface 34 on the lower side of a female screw part 36 of the branch pipe part 28 by the O ring 52.
